What if health was a natural process?
Mar 16, 2024Health does not have to be a mysterious thing, only for "the experts" to figure out. Here I', gonna share another perspective, that I hope can be useful for you.
The fear that is holding health back
An organism that is safe is constantly healing itself.
An organism that is unsafe, will not prioritize healing until the danger is dealt with.
What happens then, when you are constantly unsafe? The healing powers of your body will be chronically suppressed.
To heal, you need to make healing the top priority of your body.
How? By detecting your subconscious fears, and cultivating real, true safety.
It's OK, and good and healthy to be afraid when there is real danger. The fear makes us able to deal with danger in the way it shifts our physiology into alertness, that is not what I am talking about here. I am talking about the constant subconscious fear of yourself, that is always there, that never lets you rest - and heal.
Feel into your body
What is most scary to our ego is always the unknown, so as long as something is hidden in our subconscious, it is potentially dangerous, since we do not know what it is.
The healing process therefor needs to go into your subconscious material, and shine a light on what up until now has been hidden.
There are of course many other things you can do to support your health, like eating healthy, exercising properly, and optimizing your sleep and circadian rhythm. But these interventions will never take you all the way to the goal if you do not address what it is that fuels your subconscious fear.
If you are looking to optimize your health, a great place to start is by simply feeling into your body. Whats does it feel like in your body right now? Can you relax into that, and give it space? Can you honor your body and the signals it is sending? Can you welcome yourself where you are and be curious about your current experience of being yourself?
When you are in a challenging situation, and share about it with a friend, what do you want from your friend? A whole bunch of tips and things you can do to change what is there? Or a loving, listening prescence that holds the space for you as you explore yourself?
When an organism feels listened to, it starts relaxing. When it relaxes, it starts healing.
Listen to your body. Do not try to override the symptoms. Explore what it is like to welcome your body instead of rejecting it. Through that, real safety is cultivated little by little. This is the path towards health. Start now, and you will see, that health has been waiting all the time in the depth of your cells, real, sustainable health, ready to express itself through you.
